FAUCHON, a gourmet brand with over 130 years of history, opened the first gourmet hotel “FAUCHON L’Hotel Paris” in Place de la Madeleine in Paris in 2018 and in March 2021, the second hotel, Fauchon Hotel Kyoto, opened in Shimogyo-ku, Kyoto.
With a novel fusion of Parisianness and Kyotoness, Hotel FAUCHON is so different from other hotels in Kyoto.
When making a check-in, pastries such as Fauchon’s specialty macaroons along with a welcome drink will be served.
All rooms are painted in the four Fauchon brand colors: Fauchon pink, white, black, and gold, and what should be noted is the gourmet bar placed in each room. In the champagne pink closet, Fauchon’s specialty sweets, pastries, and tea are lined up.
On the 10th floor, the top floor of the hotel, the restaurant Grand Cafe offers gorgeous French cuisine with a panoramic view of Higashiyama.
